Overview
one of the largest gold mines in Turkey.
Production
38,990 ounces of gold in the second quarter of 2024. For the full year of 2025, the mine's production was 168,701 ounces of gold from 12,869,908 tonnes of processed ore at a grade of 0.73 grams per tonne. As of September 2023, the proven and probable mineral reserves at Kisladag were estimated to be 176.5 million tonnes grading 0.67g/t of gold.
Processing
conventional heap leach operation. The run-of-mine ore undergoes a three-stage crushing process, which includes a primary gyratory crusher, secondary crushing, and a high-pressure grinding roll (HPGR) circuit. After crushing, the ore is transported via an overland conveyor system to the heap leach pad. A diluted cyanide solution is used to extract the gold from the stacked ore. The gold-laden solution is then processed at an adsorption, desorption, and recovery (ADR) plant, which has five carbon column trains. The final product is gold doré.
