Processing
Coal is extracted using the continuous miners and transported from the face by shuttle cars to a feeder breaker, which then transfers it to a conveyor belt system. The coal is brought to the surface and stockpiled before being transported via an overland conveyor to the McClure Preparation Plant for processing.
