The Verdigris plant has been producing ammonia and UAN since 1975. It is the second largest producer of urea ammonium nitrate in North America.
Production
The complex has an annual capacity of up to 2.3 million tons of nitrogen products for agricultural and industrial use. Its average annual gross ammonia capacity is 1,210,000 tons.
Processing
The Verdigris plant has been producing ammonia and UAN since 1975. It is the second largest producer of urea ammonium nitrate in North America. The facility uses the Haber-Bosch process to synthesize ammonia from hydrogen and nitrogen.
Expansion
CF Industries and NextEra Energy Resources announced a memorandum of understanding for a joint venture to develop a zero-carbon-intensity hydrogen project at the Verdigris Complex. The proposed project includes a 100-megawatt electrolysis plant to produce green hydrogen, which would be used to create up to 100,000 tons per year of zero-carbon green ammonia. A final investment decision on this project has not yet been made.

The Port Neal facility was expected to more than double its workforce by adding approximately 120 permanent positions as a result of an expansion completed in 2016.
Production
Following the completion of a major expansion, the total annual gross ammonia capacity at Port Neal is 1.2 million tons, and the total annual urea capacity is 1.4 million tons. Total annual UAN capacity is largely unchanged at 800,000 tons. The ammonia plant has a nameplate capacity of 2,425 tons per day.
Processing
The facility consists of two ammonia plants, three urea plants, two nitric acid plants and one UAN plant. The Haber-Bosch process is used to produce anhydrous ammonia from natural gas. This ammonia is then sold or upgraded into other products like granular urea and UAN.
Expansion
A major capacity expansion project was completed at the end of 2016, which included the commissioning of new ammonia and urea plants. The facility has on-site storage for 82,000 tons of ammonia, 130,000 tons of granular urea, and 100,000 tons of 32% UAN.

Production
The complex has an annual capacity of nearly 8 million tons of nitrogen products. Its annual gross ammonia capacity is 4.3 million tons. The facility is expected to produce approximately 1.9 million tons of low-carbon ammonia annually as a result of its carbon capture and sequestration project. The green ammonia project will have the capacity to produce up to 20,000 tons of green ammonia annually.
Processing
The facility has six world-scale ammonia plants, five urea plants, four nitric acid plants, and three urea ammonium nitrate plants. It is the world's largest and most flexible ammonia production facility. A new carbon dioxide dehydration and compression facility was started up in July 2025 to capture and sequester up to 2 million metric tons of CO2 annually. A green ammonia project, involving one of the world's largest alkaline water electrolyzers, reached mechanical completion at the end of 2023 and is undergoing commissioning.
Expansion
A $75 million project to modify the Nitric Acid No. 3 plant and improve the Diesel Exhaust Fluid unit is set to start in early 2024 and be completed by the end of 2025. The company is also investing $198.5 million to add carbon capture and sequestration capabilities to the existing ammonia production facility. A joint venture with JERA Co., Inc., and Mitsui & Co., Inc., involves an approximately $4 billion final investment decision for a new low-carbon ammonia facility in Ascension Parish, expected to be operational in 2027.

Overview
The Greenstone mine is an open-pit operation located approximately 275 km northeast of Thunder Bay in Geraldton, Ontario. It achieved commercial production on 6 November 2024.
Production
expected production of over 5.2 million ounces of gold. For the first five years, annual production is anticipated to be more than 400,000 ounces. The production forecast for 2026 is between 250,000 and 300,000 ounces of gold.
Processing
