Proven and probable mineral reserves of 1.105 billion tonnes of ore, containing 5.4 million tonnes of copper and 7.4 million ounces of gold. The Alumbrera plant has an annual throughput capacity of approximately 40 million tonnes.
Processing
Utilises existing Alumbrera processing plant with crushing, grinding, and flotation. Ore from Agua Rica pit transported via 35km conveyor to Alumbrera plant (40 million tonnes annual throughput capacity). Produces copper concentrate with gold, silver, molybdenum by-products, transported via pipeline to Tucumán and then rail to Rosario port.

Overview
The Munglinup Graphite Project is located in the South Coast region of Western Australia, approximately 640 kilometres southeast of Perth. It is currently in the development and permitting stage, with a Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS) completed in January 2020 confirming its viability. The project is recognised by the Australian Government as a Critical Mineral Project.
Production
anticipated average annual production is approximately 52,000 tonnes of graphite concentrate with a grade of over 95% Total Graphitic Carbon (TGC). The Ore Reserve is estimated at 4.24 million tonnes at an average grade of 12.8% TGC.
Processing
conventional, multi-stage milling and flotation to produce high-grade graphite concentrates. The flotation circuit will feature a trommel front end, a rougher, and five cleaner flotation stages with attritioning between stages.

The Skaland Graphite Operation is an underground mine located on the island of Senja in northern Norway. It is noted for being the highest-grade operating flake graphite mine in the world, with a mill feed grade averaging around 25% carbon. It is also the largest crystalline graphite producer in Europe and the fourth largest producer globally outside of China.
Production
approximately 40,000 tonnes of ore in 2019, annual production capacity is around 10,000 tonnes of graphite concentrate, with regulatory approvals to increase production to 16,000 tonnes per annum. In October 2024, the operation produced 1,000 tonnes of saleable product.
Processing
crushing ore from the mine, which is then dumped into a Run-of-Mine (ROM) ore bin and conveyed to an autogenous mill. This is followed by a front-end, open-ended milling circuit before the ore undergoes a three-stage flotation and cleaner circuit.

Overview
The Thacker Pass project is located in Humboldt County in Northern Nevada, United States, approximately 100 kilometres northwest of Winnemucca, at the southern end of the McDermitt Caldera. It is a shallow open-pit mine with a co-located processing facility, currently under construction. Initial construction commenced in March 2023, with mechanical completion of Phase 1 targeted for late 2027. The project covers approximately 9 square miles of public land.
Production
Phase 1 is designed for a nominal production capacity of 40,000 tonnes per year of battery-quality lithium carbonate. The total nominal design capacity over five phases is 160,000 tonnes per year.
Processing
The processing method involves open-pit mining of mineralised soft clay, followed by crushing and an acid leaching process using on-site produced sulfuric acid. The process is designed as a closed-loop, zero liquid discharge facility with high water recycle and reuse. The lithium-bearing solution will be processed to produce high-purity lithium carbonate. Tailings will be filtered and dry-stacked.
Equipment
Bechtel is the engineering, procurement, and construction management contractor. The site will include a 642-acre plant complex with 600,000 square feet of processing plant buildings. Key equipment includes a sulfuric acid plant and a steam turbine generator. Foundation, rebar, and concrete work are underway for facilities including the Filter Building and the Magnesium Sulfate Building. The mine plan involves block mining.

Overview
The Vicuña Project is a development-stage mining asset operated by Vicuña Corp., a 50/50 joint venture between Lundin Mining Corporation and BHP. The project is located in the Vicuña District, spanning the border of Argentina and Chile, with deposits in the San Juan Province of Argentina and the Atacama Region of Chile. Development is planned in three stages, with a final investment decision targeted for the end of 2026.
Production
Projected production figures for the first 25 years of operation average 400,000 tonnes of copper, 700,000 ounces of gold, and 22 million ounces of silver annually. Peak annual production over a ten-year period is forecast to be over 500,000 tonnes of copper, 800,000 ounces of gold, and 20 million ounces of silver.
Processing
Stage 1: sulphide concentrator with a capacity of 175,000 tonnes per day, conventional crushing, grinding, and flotation to produce copper concentrate. Stage 2: heap leach circuit and a solvent extraction and electrowinning (SX/EW) plant to produce copper cathodes and gold-silver dore. Stage 3: expansion of concentrator to 293,000 tonnes per day, roasting plant to treat concentrate with high arsenic levels.
Equipment
shared fleet of ultra-class haul trucks with a 360-tonne payload, loaded by a combination of electric rope shovels and large hydraulic excavators. The initial fleet is expected to consist of 20-30 haul trucks, expanding to 90-100 trucks and 8-10 primary loading units at peak production. Wheel loaders will be used for stockpile management, and large-diameter rotary blast hole drills are planned for production drilling. Infrastructure to be developed includes access roads, power transmission lines, a water supply, and tailings management facilities. A desalination plant and associated pipelines are planned for Stage 3.
