Overview
The Connaught property is located approximately 65 kilometres west of Dawson City. Hecla Mining acquired the Connaught property as part of a larger land package from ATAC Resources in a transaction that closed in July 2023. The project has historically been explored as a high-grade silver-lead-zinc-copper-gold vein prospect. However, the focus has shifted to exploring for copper-molybdenum porphyry mineralisation. A 2022 government report noted that ATAC had re-envisioned the project as a porphyry copper-gold-molybdenum target.

Overview
The Marillana Project is a 50:50 joint venture between Brockman Mining Limited and Mineral Resources (MinRes) in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. MinRes manages the joint venture and will oversee the mine's development and operation. The project is approximately 100 kilometres north-west of Newman and is currently in the development and feasibility stage, pending a final investment decision. This decision is contingent on securing essential port and rail infrastructure at Port Hedland, which is being progressed by a joint venture between MinRes and Hancock Prospecting.
Production
Initial production is planned at a rate of 20 million tonnes per annum, with the potential to expand to 30 Mtpa. The project has a total Mineral Resource of 1.51 billion tonnes and Probable Ore Reserves of 1.01 billion tonnes as of May 2018. The estimated mine life is over 20 years.
Processing
The Marillana Project is an open-pit mine targeting hematite detrital and channel iron deposit mineralisation. Processing will involve simple beneficiation to upgrade lower-grade detrital ore. Metallurgical testing indicates that ore with an in-situ grade of 42.2% iron can be processed into a high-quality iron ore fines product with a grade over 60% Fe, a sinter feed product of 60.5% to 61.5% Fe, and a direct-ship-ore product grading 55.5% Fe. Mineral Resources will build, own, and operate the necessary crushing and beneficiation plants.
Equipment
Mineral Resources will build, own, and operate the necessary crushing and beneficiation plants.
Expansion
Initial production is planned at a rate of 20 million tonnes per annum, with the potential to expand to 30 Mtpa.

Workforce
In late 2024, Mineral Resources implemented cost reduction measures which included changes to workforce rosters at Mt Marion.
Overview
Production has been scaled back due to subdued lithium prices as of late 2024. An upgrade project was underway to increase production capacity to 900,000 tonnes of mixed-grade spodumene concentrate per annum, expected to be completed by December 2022.
Production
Production overview - 2024: lithium 68000 t.
Processing
The mine uses conventional open-pit mining methods, followed by crushing and grinding. A flotation process is used to produce a final spodumene concentrate. In March 2019, an upgrade to the processing plant increased its nameplate capacity to 450,000 tonnes per annum and improved the spodumene concentrate produced from 4% to 6% lithium content. A further expansion was planned to increase production to 900,000 tonnes of mixed-grade spodumene per annum.
Expansion
In April 2024, Mineral Resources commenced preliminary development for a potential underground mining operation. A contract was awarded to Develop Global for the establishment of an exploration decline, which commenced in June 2024. A diamond drilling program in the second quarter of FY24 doubled the underground Mineral Resource to 19.3 million tonnes. However, as of October 2024, plans for the underground expansion have been stopped for the foreseeable future due to market conditions.

Overview
The Casa Berardi mine is located 95 kilometres north of La Sarre, Quebec. On March 25, 2026, Orezone Gold Corporation completed its acquisition of Hecla Quebec Inc., a subsidiary of Hecla Mining Company, thereby acquiring a 100% interest in the Casa Berardi mine. The mine, which began commercial operations in 1988, operates as both an underground and open-pit mine. The lower-margin east mine underground operations were closed in July 2023, with underground mining since then focused on the higher-margin stopes of the west mine. Plans were revised to extend this underground mining throughout 2025. Since its opening, the mine has produced over 3.2 million ounces of gold. Orezone plans to integrate the Casa Berardi operations through 2026 and intends to publish an updated mine plan and economic study in the fourth quarter of 2026.
Production
Production overview - 2023: gold 90363 oz, silver 22415 oz.
Processing
The Casa Berardi mill has a throughput of 1.4 million tonnes per annum. The metallurgical recovery rate for gold was 85% in 2023, 85% in 2024, and 87% in 2025.
Expansion
Orezone has initiated studies to evaluate the optimisation of the current mine plan and a potential increase in underground production. The company also plans to start a multi-year exploration drill program of 80,000 to 100,000 metres annually, targeting high-grade extensions and near-mine mineralisation.
