Production overview - 2023: gold 49300 oz.
Processing
The processing method at Waihi involves several stages. Ore is first crushed and then ground in a semi-autogenous grinding (SAG) mill with water and steel balls to form a slurry. Lime and a weak sodium cyanide solution are added to the slurry in leach tanks to dissolve the gold and silver. The slurry then passes through adsorption tanks containing carbon granules, which attract the dissolved gold and silver. The metals are then stripped from the carbon, and through a process of electrowinning, a gold and silver-bearing sludge is produced. This sludge is dried, mixed with fluxes, and smelted in a furnace at 1200 degrees Celsius to form doré bullion bars. These bars, which are approximately 99% pure gold and silver, are then sent to a refinery in Perth, Australia, for final separation.
Expansion
OceanaGold has received permit approval for the Waihi North Project, a significant expansion of the Waihi Operation. This project includes the development of the new high-grade Wharekirauponga Underground (WUG) mine, located about 10 kilometres north of the existing operations. The approval also allows for the expansion of the current processing and water treatment facilities and the construction of a new tailings storage facility. The development of the Waihi North Project is expected to extend the mine life of the Waihi Operation to at least 2038. The existing Martha Underground (MUG) is expected to be the primary source of ore until 2033, with the new Wharekirauponga mine transitioning into the main production source thereafter. First ore from the Wharekirauponga Underground is anticipated in 2032. The company has an early-works capital budget of $40 to $45 million for 2025 to progress design and construction activities for the Waihi North Project. A pre-feasibility study for the Waihi District, which includes both the existing operations and the Wharekirauponga underground mine, projects a combined production of 1.6 million ounces of payable gold over a 15-year mine life. As of February 2025, an initial mineral reserve of 4.1 million tonnes at a grade of 9.2 g/t for 1.21 million ounces of gold has been declared for the Wharekirauponga deposit.

This includes expansions of the Innes Mills and Coronation Pits, and returning to mining at the Golden Bar Pit. A key part of this project is the development of a new tailings storage facility in the existing Frasers Open Pit. The project aims to maintain an approximate annual output of 130,000 ounces.

Overview
The Didipio mine is located in Barangay Didipio, Kasibu, in the provinces of Nueva Vizcaya and Quirino on the island of Luzon. It is operated by OceanaGold (Philippines), Inc., a subsidiary of OceanaGold Corporation. Following an Initial Public Offering (IPO) on the Philippine Stock Exchange on 13 May 2024, OceanaGold Corporation holds an 80% indirect interest in the mine. Large-scale open-pit mining was completed in May 2017. Current mining activities are solely from underground operations, which began in 2015, and are supplemented by the processing of surface stockpiles. The underground mining method is longhole open stoping with cemented paste backfill. The operation is governed by a Financial or Technical Assistance Agreement (FTAA) with the Philippine government, which was renewed in 2021 for a 25-year term.
Production
Production overview - 2023: gold 138500 oz, copper 14200 t; 2022: gold 113200 oz, copper 14400 t.
Processing
The processing plant uses a conventional SAG mill-ball mill grinding circuit, froth flotation, and a gravity gold recovery circuit. The combined processing rate of underground ore and surface stockpiles is approximately 4.0 million tonnes per annum (Mtpa).
Expansion
A pre-feasibility study is in progress to identify requirements to support an optimised underground mining production rate of approximately 2.5 Mtpa and to evaluate process plant augmentation needs. This study is expected to be completed in 2026. The company is also conducting exploration to expand resources, including at the Napartan prospect located about nine kilometres from the Didipio mine.

Overview
The Coronel Oviedo Project is an exploration-stage uranium project in central Paraguay, covering over 223,000 acres. It has a geological setting similar to the South Texas uranium belt. UEC conducted drilling in 2012 and has an Exploration Target of 23-56 million pounds grading 0.040%-0.052% U3O8. As of early 2025, UEC is appealing the Paraguayan Ministry of Public Works and Communications' (MOPC) position regarding the extension of concessions.
Processing
Preliminary studies and aquifer tests indicate the project is amenable to in-situ recovery (ISR) methods. The aquifer properties are reported to be within the range of values for other uranium ISR projects in Wyoming, Texas, and Nebraska.
Equipment
UEC owns equipment for radon gas and surface gamma surveys.

Overview
The Horseshoe-Raven Project is an advanced exploration stage project owned 100% by Uranium Energy Corp, located in the eastern Athabasca Basin in Saskatchewan, approximately 5 km from Cameco's Rabbit Lake mill. The project has outlined resources and is undergoing resource expansion. It has direct access to all-weather roads and power infrastructure. The uranium mineralisation at the Horseshoe and Raven deposits is hosted in basement rocks with no sandstone cover and is found at depths between 100 m and 450 m below the surface. This suggests the deposits are potentially amenable to development without the need for costly ground freezing.
