Expansion
As of December 2025, the Nevada Operations, which include Aurora, are on care and maintenance. In late 2025, Hecla Mining's subsidiary, Klondex Aurora Mine Inc., received federal approval for the Polaris Exploration Project in the Aurora mining district. This allows for exploration activities to commence in 2026. Hecla Mining has indicated that the existing infrastructure will be evaluated for refurbishment depending on the results of ongoing technical and economic assessments. For 2026, Hecla has planned a total investment of $55 million for exploration and pre-development across its properties, which is nearly double the investment made in 2025. A portion of this increased budget is focused on its projects in Nevada.

Processing
The Brunswick Processing Plant has a capacity of approximately 150,000 tonnes per year. The plant uses a conventional flotation process to produce a gold-antimony concentrate and a separate gravity gold concentrate. The processing circuit includes two-stage crushing and two ball mills.
Equipment
The mine utilises a narrow vein mining method. In recent years, the autonomous fleet at Costerfield has been increased with the commissioning of ControlMaster® Teleremote and Guidance Automation on Sandvik LH203 and Sandvik LH151D loaders.
Expansion
A sustained exploration program is ongoing, with a focus on near-mine targets to extend the mine life. Development to access the newly extended Kendal system, which is the up-dip continuation of the Youle and Shepherd deposits, began in late 2025. The True Blue deposit, located approximately 2 km from current workings, is also a key exploration focus.

Overview
The Bendigo-Ophir Gold Project is located on the South Island of New Zealand, one hour drive east of Queenstown’s international airport. The tenements cover 251 square kilometres in the Central Otago goldfields, 90 kilometres northwest of OceanaGold’s world-class Macraes gold mine where previous production and mineral resources total in excess of 8 million ounces of gold. The project contains a new Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE March 2025) Infill drilling, including 28 drill holes for 7,060 metres at the Rise & Shine (RAS) deposit has enabled a significantly refined resource model with improved grade domaining and variography. Applying 0.5g/t cut-off grade and a top cut of 60g/t, the new Indicated Resource has a 7% increase in grade (from 2.35g/t to 2.52 g/t) and a 6.4% increase in contained gold ounces. The Bendigo-Ophir resources occur in 4 deposits named Rise and Shine (RAS), Come-in-Time (CIT) and Srex/Srex East (SRX/SRE), that extend in a northerly direction within the Rise & Shine Shear Zone (RSSZ) which hosts gold mineralization over a recognised strike length of >20km. The RSSZ occurs at the contact with TZ3 and TZ4 schist units separated by a regional fault (Thomsons Gorge Fault-TGF) and dips at a low angle (25°) to the north-east. The RSSZ is currently interpreted to have upper shear hosted gold mineralization (HWS) 10-40 metres in width above quartz vein and stockwork related gold mineralization extending >120 metres below the HWS which is largely untested down-plunge and at depth.

Workforce

Overview
The Cosmos Project, wholly owned by IGO Limited, is located 30 kilometres north of Leinster in Western Australia. Following a review that showed a reduced expected mine life, delays, and increased costs, coupled with a significant deterioration in commodity prices, IGO made the decision to transition the project into care and maintenance. This transition was completed in June 2024. The company intends to maintain the project's assets to preserve the option for a restart if market conditions improve. The primary focus of development before the suspension was the Odysseus underground mine. As of 30 June 2025, all previously reported JORC Code reportable Ore Reserve and Mineral Resource estimates for the Cosmos Project have been declassified.
Production
The first saleable nickel sulphide concentrates were produced during the 2024 fiscal year. Nearly 295,000 tonnes of ore from the Odysseus mine were processed between 6 November 2023 and 22 May 2024, after which processing ceased.
Processing
The on-site concentrator was upgraded to a throughput capacity of 1.1 Mtpa, with commissioning commencing in October 2023. Wet commissioning of the plant was being finalised as part of the transition to care and maintenance.
Equipment
processing plant, concentrator. The processing circuit includes primary, secondary, and tertiary crushing and screening, a primary mill, refurbished secondary and regrind mills, flotation circuits, and concentrate and tailings thickeners.
Expansion
IGO is assessing exploration programs to potentially increase the mineral resource, particularly the AM5 and AM6 orebodies. The company is also exploring options to rationalise the Cosmos assets and infrastructure, noting the region is prospective for gold and other minerals. Exploration activities in FY25 and FY26 include drill testing for surface lithium and underground nickel targets, as well as a review of gold opportunities.

The operation has four processing plants: two producing chemical-grade lithium concentrates, one for technical-grade concentrates, and one for re-treating historic tailings. The processing method involves gravity, heavy media, flotation, and magnetic processes to upgrade the ore. In December 2025, the first ore was processed at the new Chemical Grade Plant 3 (CGP3). The combined plants have a total nominal processing capacity of 6.5 million tonnes per annum, with a potential output of up to 1.5 million tonnes of lithium mineral concentrate annually.
Expansion
The Greenbushes mine is undergoing a significant expansion to meet global demand. This involves expanding the mine to the east and south, adding a new waste rock landform, expanding an existing one, and increasing water storage capacity. The project's development envelope is planned to increase by 28% from 2,207 hectares to 2,826 hectares. The transition to care and maintenance was expected to result in redundancies, though IGO planned to offer some redeployment opportunities.
Overview
The Cosmos Project is 100% owned by IGO Limited and is located 30 kilometres north of Leinster in Western Australia. The project includes the development of the Odysseus underground mine. In June 2024, the project was formally transitioned into a state of care and maintenance. This decision was made following a review that identified a shorter expected mine life, delays in reaching full production capacity, and increased operating and capital costs, which was exacerbated by a significant decline in nickel prices. IGO intends to maintain the assets to preserve the option of restarting the project if market conditions improve. As of March 2026, IGO is exploring options to rationalise the Cosmos site and its infrastructure, noting the region is prospective for gold and other minerals, and that the company retains plant and equipment on site that could support mining and processing of such commodities.
Production
Operations ceased on 22 May 2024. The processing of existing ore on the run-of-mine pad was completed as part of the transition to care and maintenance.
Processing
The project includes a refurbished concentrator with a new SAG mill, designed with a capacity of 1.1 million tonnes per annum. The processing plant was wet-commissioned prior to the transition to care and maintenance.
Equipment
two 65-tonne BEV trucks, four BEV loaders, refurbished concentrator, new SAG mill
Expansion
During the transition to care and maintenance, IGO was to assess the value of continuing select exploration programs to increase the mineral resource, specifically focusing on the AM5 and AM6 orebodies.
