The original plant, located in Buda, Texas, began construction in December 1976 and was completed in June 1978.

The Buda plant has an annual rated capacity of 1,300,000 short tons. A 2018 permit application for a new kiln proposed a clinker production rate of 1,314,000 short tons per year.

Aya Gold & Silver Inc. granted an exclusive option on its 75% interest in the Tijirit Project to Mx2 Mining Inc. in September 2024. In December 2024, following a decision by the Mauritanian government, Aya Gold & Silver abandoned the project, winding down local operations and exiting Mauritania.

A feasibility study was assessing a conventional primary crush and a semi-autogenous grinding (SAG) milling circuit, to be followed by gravity gold recovery and leaching.

The Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) projects an average annual production of approximately 401,000 ounces of gold equivalent during the first five years. Over the life of the mine, the average head grade is expected to be 3.85 g/t gold equivalent.

The planned processing method is a conventional flotation plant with an annual throughput capacity of 2.9 million tonnes (8,000 tonnes per day). This will produce three separate saleable concentrates: zinc, lead, and pyrite, all containing gold and silver.

The Boumadine Project is advancing to a Feasibility Study, which is targeted for completion in late 2027. An aggressive infill drilling campaign is underway to support a mineral resource update. The company is also evaluating the potential for a roaster facility to further treat the pyrite concentrate. Commercial production and sale of material from a historical flotation stockpile began in late 2025.

The Agi Dagi project is a high-sulphidation epithermal gold and silver project located on the Biga Peninsula in Çanakkale Province, Türkiye, approximately 50 kilometres south-east of Çanakkale city. In October 2025, Alamos Gold Inc. sold its Turkish subsidiary, Doğu Biga Madencilik, which owns Agi Dagi, to Tümad Madencilik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. The Agi Dagi deposit includes five main zones: Baba, Ayi Tepe, Ihlamur, Fire Tower, and Deli, with mineralisation hosted in Miocene-age felsic volcanic rocks. Sandstorm Gold Royalties holds a US$10 per ounce production royalty on the project.

A 2017 feasibility study projected average annual production of 177,600 ounces of gold over a six-year mine life. Another estimate suggested an average of 143,000 ounces of gold and 271,000 ounces of silver annually over a seven-year life. The combined life-of-mine production for Agi Dagi and the nearby Çamyurt deposit is estimated at nearly 10 years.

The project is planned as a stand-alone, open-pit, heap-leach operation. The proposed processing method involves conventional heap leaching with crushing, agglomeration, and stacking, followed by a gold recovery plant to produce gold and silver doré bars.

The mining fleet is expected to include drills, loaders, haul trucks, and dozers.

The Agi Dagi facilities are planned to process ore from the nearby Çamyurt deposit, extending the combined life-of-mine production to nearly 10 years. Development of Agi Dagi was intended to be funded by cash flow from the Kirazli project.

The Bayan Khundii Gold Mine is a high-grade, near-surface open-pit gold operation in Mongolia’s Khundii Minerals District. Operated by Erdene Mongol LLC, the mine is jointly owned by Erdene Resource Development and Mongolian Mining Corporation. Bayan Khundii achieved first gold pour in Q3 2025 and commercial production in Q1 2026. The operation processed 151,000 tonnes of ore during the March 2026 quarter, achieving 96% gold recovery and selling 8,527 ounces of gold. The mine is supported by 513,700 ounces of total gold reserves including Dark Horse and is expected to produce approximately 85,000 ounces of gold annually.
