Overview
The Kinskuch project is an early-stage exploration target located in the Golden Triangle of British Columbia. It is considered prospective for silver, gold, and copper mineralisation. The property is part of the larger Kitsault Valley Project, which was significantly expanded with the Kinskuch acquisition to approximately 77,000 hectares. The project is covered by a renewed five-year Exploration Permit that includes both Nisga'a and Gitanyow Traditional Lands.
Expansion
Contango Silver & Gold is advancing exploration efforts. For 2025, Dolly Varden Silver had planned a minimum of 35,000 metres of diamond drilling across the entire Kitsault Valley Project, which was later expanded to 55,000 metres. The initial 2025 fieldwork on the Kinskuch property was to include geological mapping and reconnaissance to identify priority drill targets, focusing on the underexplored "Illiance trend". Following the merger, Contango Silver & Gold has outlined a robust exploration program for 2026. An updated Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) for the Kitsault Valley Project is expected by the end of the second quarter of 2026. This will be followed by a 40,000-metre surface drilling program beginning in June 2026, aimed at infilling known resources and testing high-priority targets across the project area. A preliminary development plan, in the form of a Preliminary Economic Analysis/Initial Assessment (PEA/IA), for the Kitsault Valley assets is anticipated in the first half of 2027.
