Rupert Resources is a Canadian gold exploration and development company focused on northern Finland. Its principal asset is the 100%-owned Ikkari gold project in the Central Lapland Greenstone Belt. In April 2026 Agnico Eagle agreed to acquire Rupert in a transaction that highlighted Ikkari’s scale and strategic fit alongside the producing Kittilä mine. Rupert’s Finnish operating base is in Sodankylä, placing the company directly inside one of Europe’s most important emerging gold districts.
