Dhilmar Ltd is a privately held mining company incorporated in the United Kingdom in November 2024 and led by CEO and Managing Director Alexander Ramlie. Its current flagship asset is the Éléonore gold mine in Québec, Canada, acquired from Newmont, with the company positioning itself around responsible mining, safety, sustainability and community partnership. Dhilmar has moved rapidly from a newly incorporated private mining vehicle into a significant industry participant, agreeing in May 2026 to acquire Anglo American’s Australian steelmaking coal portfolio in Queensland’s Bowen Basin for up to US$3.88 billion, subject to approvals and completion conditions.
