Overview
The Upper Beaver Project is located in the Gauthier and McVittie townships, approximately 5 km northeast of Dobie, Ontario. Agnico Eagle is planning to develop, operate, and eventually reclaim a combined underground and open-pit gold-copper mine. As of July 2024, the project entered the advanced exploration phase. A positive internal evaluation for a standalone mine and mill scenario was completed in mid-2024. The company is now intensifying efforts on the impact assessment for the potential production phase.
Production
Production overview - 2025: gold 400000 oz, copper 10649 t; 2024: gold 2770000 oz, copper 54930 t.
Processing
The plan includes an on-site metal mill and a tailings storage facility. The proposed maximum ore production capacity of the mine is 15,000 tonnes per day, with the mill having a maximum input capacity of approximately 10,000 tonnes per day.
Expansion
In July 2024, a $200 million investment was approved to de-risk the project, with an additional $100 million allocated to accelerate site-readiness for construction. Activities in 2024 included shaft pre-sinking, foundation work, construction of site roads and water management ponds, upgrades to Beaverhouse Road, and the start of erecting the shaft headframe and hoist structures. By the end of 2025, shaft sinking had reached a depth of 155 metres. The exploration ramp is being extended to a depth of 400 metres. Construction of the mine is planned to start in 2027-2028, with production potentially beginning as early as 2029-2030. The project is subject to a federal impact assessment, which began in September 2021.

Overview
The Casa Berardi operation is a gold mine in northwestern Quebec, Canada, that has been in production for over 35 years. The mine comprises both open-pit and underground operations. In March 2026, Orezone Gold Corporation completed the acquisition of Hecla Quebec Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hecla Mining Company, thereby acquiring 100% ownership of the Casa Berardi mine. Prior to the sale, Hecla was transitioning the mine to a fully open-pit operation. The lower-margin east mine underground operations were closed in July 2023, with mining continuing in the higher-margin stopes of the west underground mine. A technical report from March 2024 outlined a 14-year mine plan based on open pit reserves. Orezone has initiated trade-off studies to evaluate the optimisation of the current mine plan and a potential increase in underground production. The company also plans to initiate a multi-year exploration drill program of 80,000 to 100,000 metres per year.

over 360 full-time operational jobs and 700 jobs during its construction phase.
Overview
The NewRange Project is located in the established Iron Range mining region of northeastern Minnesota and consists of two deposits: NorthMet and Sunrise (formerly Mesaba). The project is currently in the permitting stage. In May 2025, the NorthMet Project was designated as a Transparency Project by the US federal government to prioritise and streamline the federal permitting process.
Production
The NorthMet deposit is planned as an open pit operation. The initial plan for the NorthMet operation is for a processing rate of 32,000 tons per day. NewRange is studying the potential to increase this to 40,000 tons per day.
Processing
The planned processing for the NorthMet project will involve a beneficiation plant and a hydrometallurgical plant. The process will include primary and secondary crushing, a new SAG mill and a new ball mill. Ore will be processed through rougher flotation to produce a bulk copper and nickel concentrate, which will then be reground and separated in a cleaner flotation circuit. The hydrometallurgical plant will involve pressure treatment of concentrates and precipitation of gold and platinum group metals.

Processing
The project will have processing facilities to produce a high-quality copper-gold concentrate. Construction is planned in two phases, with a combined process capacity of 90 million tonnes per annum.
Expansion
Construction is planned in two phases. Phase 1 capital cost was estimated at $5.6 billion to $6.0 billion, and Phase 2 at $3.3 billion to $3.6 billion, though Barrick anticipates significant increases to the capital budget and timeline. The project's reconstitution was finalised in December 2022. An Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) was completed in 2024 and approved in March 2025.

The project is situated in a significant historical silver-producing region, and for the first time, the entire 21-square-mile Creede Mining District is under single ownership. The project's focus includes the Bulldog Mine, which has a history of producing 25 million ounces of silver between 1969 and 1985. Hecla is strategically advancing the project to access underground infrastructure for resource confirmation and expansion. As of 31 December 2022, the project had an inferred resource of 38.2 million ounces of silver, 34,000 ounces of gold, 49,400 tons of lead, and 39,850 tons of zinc. San Juan Silver is classified as a high-impact development project and was allocated 1% of Hecla's 2025 exploration budget.
Production
The project is in an exploration and development stage and is not currently in production.

Overview
The Carmen de Andacollo mine is an open-pit copper and gold operation in the Coquimbo Region of Chile, approximately 350 kilometres north of Santiago. It is operated by Compañía Minera Teck Carmen de Andacollo, a joint venture between Teck Resources (90%) and ENAMI (10%). The mine is located at an elevation of 1,000 metres and transitioned to 100% renewable power in September 2020.
Production
Annual copper production in concentrate was 39,600 tonnes in 2023 and 39,700 tonnes in 2024. All payable gold produced is sold to RGLD Gold AG under a streaming agreement.
Processing
The mine processes hypogene ore using semi-autogenous grinding and a flotation plant with a capacity of up to 55,000 tonnes of ore per day to produce copper concentrates. Previously, supergene ore was processed through heap leaching and a solvent extraction and electrowinning plant to produce copper cathodes, but these cathode operations ceased in 2023.
Equipment
The mining equipment fleet includes electric blast hole drills, electric cable shovels, a hydraulic excavator, front-end loaders, and haul trucks with capacities of up to 229 tonnes, supported by various ancillary vehicles.
Expansion
An operational continuity project is underway to extend the mine's life until 2031. A further extension beyond this date is being studied and will require additional water rights and regulatory approvals. These studies include technical assessments and the collection of environmental baseline data to support an environmental impact assessment.
