Recent reports indicate the Fox Complex has faced workforce constraints and has been accelerating hiring efforts and engaging contractors to support operations.
Overview
The Fox Complex, located in the Timmins Gold Mining Camp, consists of the producing Froome underground mine, the Black Fox mine (on care and maintenance), the Stock Mill, and the advanced-stage Grey Fox and Stock development projects. Production from the Froome mine is being transitioned to the Stock mine, which is expected to begin initial production by mid-2026 and achieve commercial production in 2027. The development of the Grey Fox project is also a key part of the company's plan to increase production.
Production
Gold equivalent ounce production from the Fox Complex was 44,450 ounces in 2023 and 30,151 ounces in 2024. For 2025, 23,187 gold equivalent ounces were produced. Production guidance for 2026 is forecast to be between 16,000 and 19,000 gold equivalent ounces. McEwen Mining is targeting a significant production increase at the Fox Complex to between 105,000 and 120,000 gold equivalent ounces by 2030. The combined annual production from the Grey Fox and Stock mines is targeted to be between 75,000 to 90,000 gold equivalent ounces.
Processing
Mined material from the Froome underground mine is hauled by road trucks to the Stock mill. The processing includes a crushing circuit, a grinding circuit with two stages of closed-circuit ball milling, and soluble gold recovery through adsorption on granular activated carbon in CIC, CIL, and CIP trains, with a process efficiency of up to 97%. In 2025, production from the Fox Complex consisted of 98% doré and 2% slag and fine carbon.

Expansion
A Pre-feasibility Study for the Grey Fox project, scheduled for release in Q2 2026, will highlight the potential to materially extend the mine life at the Fox Complex. Production from the Froome mine is being transitioned to the Stock mine, which is expected to begin initial production by mid-2026 and achieve commercial production in 2027. The development of the Grey Fox project is also a key part of the company's plan to increase production.

Overview
The Goldex Complex, located in Val-d'Or, Quebec, is Agnico Eagle's easternmost operation in the Abitibi region. It consists of the Goldex underground gold mine and the Akasaba West gold-copper open-pit mine, which is situated less than 30 km away. Commercial production from the Akasaba West mine was achieved in the first quarter of 2024. Over its projected five-year mine life, Akasaba West is expected to produce approximately 115,000 ounces of gold and 21,000 tonnes of copper. Ore from Akasaba West is processed at the Goldex mill. Underground mining at Goldex commenced in 2013 and is currently active in the South Zone, Deep 1 Zone, and Deep 2 Zone.
Production
Production overview - 2023: gold 4.24155208555 t.
Processing
The ore undergoes a two-stage crushing process, followed by a two-stage grinding circuit that includes a semi-autogenous grinding mill and a ball mill. Approximately two-thirds of the gold is recovered through a gravity circuit and smelted into doré bars on-site. The remaining gold is recovered via flotation, which produces a gold-bearing pyrite concentrate. This concentrate is then transported to the LaRonde complex for further processing. Tailings are sent to the Manitou site for disposal.
Equipment
The Goldex underground mine utilises an innovative automated electric conveyor system called Rail-Veyor® to transport ore from the Deep 1 Zone to the ore handling facilities. This system reduces the reliance on underground trucks.

Overview
The Greens Creek mine is located on Admiralty Island, approximately 18 miles southwest of Juneau, within the Admiralty Island National Monument. It is one of the largest and lowest-cost primary silver mines in the world. The operation is accessed by sea and a 13-mile road. Major facilities include the underground mine, an ore concentrating mill, a dry stacked tailings facility, a ship-loading facility, camp facilities, and a ferry dock. The mine operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Production
Production overview - 2025: silver 8.7 Moz, gold 59349 oz, lead 18.2 kt, zinc 51.3 kt; 2024: silver 8.5 Moz, gold 55275 oz.
Processing
The ore concentrating mill uses a flotation and gravity process to recover silver, gold, lead, and zinc. The processing involves grinding and flotation to produce concentrates. A gravity circuit is used to recover free gold. Approximately half of the tailings are used as backfill in the underground mine, with the remainder being transported to a dry stacked tailings facility. In 2024, 46% of tailings were reused as backfill.
Equipment
The underground mobile equipment fleet includes conventional mining equipment. At least one LHD is capable of semi-autonomous operation and another is capable of tele-remote operation, which allows for production activities to continue during shift changes and post-blasting periods.

The mine employs approximately 500 Agnico Eagle personnel and 600 contractors. Another source states the mine provides jobs for about 500 employees and about 500 employees of partner companies. Over 90% of the employees are from Lapland, with more than 50% from the municipality of Kittilä.
Overview
The Kittilä Mine, located in the Lapland region of northern Finland, is the largest primary gold producer in Europe. It is situated approximately 900 kilometres north of Helsinki and 150 kilometres north of the Arctic Circle. Owned and operated by Agnico Eagle Mines Limited, the mine achieved commercial production in May 2009. Open-pit mining was completed in November 2012, and the operation has been exclusively underground since then. The underground mining method is open stoping with delayed backfill.
Production
Production overview - 2025: gold 217379 oz.
Processing
The processing plant has a capacity of 2 million tonnes of ore per year. The refractory ore is treated through crushing, grinding, flotation, pressure oxidation in an autoclave, and a carbon-in-leach (CIL) circuit. Gold is recovered from the solution via electrowinning and smelted into doré bars.
Equipment
The mine's underground fleet includes battery electric vehicles (BEVs). A Sandvik TH663i truck has been trialled at the mine. For development drilling, the mine uses four TeleRemote-operated machines. A 5G network is implemented underground to support autonomous and TeleRemote operations. In December 2023, the production hoist ramp-up was completed, and 100% of the ore was hoisted through the shaft.
Expansion
An extensive investment program, which included increasing the concentrator's capacity to 2 million tonnes and constructing a hoisting shaft over 1000 meters deep, was fully implemented by 2023.
