Overview
The mine is located in northern Mexico in the state of Coahuila, approximately 708 kilometres northeast of Torreon. The property is situated in the municipality of Villa de Ocampo, about 120 kilometres east of the city of Melchor Múzquiz. The site includes 4,076 hectares of mining rights and 1,343 hectares of surface rights.
Production
In 2023, the mine processed 966,392 tonnes of ore, producing 2,718,856 ounces of silver and 321 ounces of gold. In the fourth quarter of 2024, the mine produced 755,963 ounces of silver from 253,953 tonnes of processed ore. The projected production for 2024 is 2.3 million ounces of silver.
Processing
Historically, a 1,000 tonne-per-day flotation plant was the primary method for silver recovery. This was later replaced by a 4,000 tonne-per-day cyanidation mill. The flotation circuit was suspended in June 2010 and is currently under care and maintenance. The cyanidation plant, which commenced operations in April 2010, allows for the production of silver doré bars on-site.

As of 30 June 2022, the Mineral Resource estimate for the GTS deposit included 930,000 tonnes at 1.9 g/t gold for 56,000 ounces in the indicated category, and 1,360,000 tonnes at 1.2 g/t gold for 51,000 ounces in the inferred category. A 2021 mine plan indicated the GTS pit was expected to provide 293,000 tonnes at 2.4 g/t for 23,000 ounces.
Processing
Metallurgical test work has been conducted, with recoveries based on rock types. Ore from the project would likely be processed at Dacian's 2.9Mtpa CIL treatment plant at the Mt Morgans operation.
Expansion
