The central processing facility has a total capacity of 4.7 million tonnes per annum.

It consists of three underground mines (Aguas Teñidas, Magdalena, Sotiel) and a central processing facility at the Aguas Teñidas site. The operation produces copper, zinc, and lead concentrates, with silver as a by-product.
Production
Installed capacity of 4.7 million tonnes per annum (Mtpa). For the September 2023 quarter, produced 14,900 tonnes of copper and 18,500 tonnes of zinc. Mining and processing rates for that quarter were at an annualised rate of 4.6 Mtpa and 4.5 Mtpa, respectively. Full 2023 financial year copper production guidance was for the lower end of 60,000 to 65,000 tonnes.
Processing
Ore is processed at a central facility with an installed capacity of 4.7 Mtpa, using conventional crushing, grinding, and flotation processes. The plant has two crushing lines and three grinding and flotation lines to treat cupriferous and polymetallic ores.
Equipment
underground mobile fleet includes a mix of loaders (LHDs), specifically five Sandvik LH621 and four Caterpillar R2900G models. Volvo road trucks are used for underground haulage. The operation also utilises six automated Epiroc Simba production drills and two Sandvik DD422i face drilling rigs. The processing infrastructure includes two paste backfill plants, one at Aguas Teñidas and one at Magdalena.
