Production
For the full-year 2024, the Didipio Mine produced 97,000 ounces of gold and 12,300 tonnes of copper. The 2025 guidance is for 85,000 to 105,000 ounces of gold and 13,000 to 15,000 tonnes of copper. In the first quarter of 2024, the mine produced 26,300 ounces of gold.
Processing
The processing plant operates at approximately 4.1 million tonnes per annum, producing both gold dore and copper concentrate. Expansion
Open pit mining was completed in May 2017. The operation is now an underground mine. A 28,000 m program of resource conversion and expansion drilling was planned for 2024, focusing on infilling Panel 3 and testing below 1930mRL (Panel 4). A PFS is underway to assess an optimised underground mining production rate of approximately 2.5 Mtpa and is expected to be completed in 2026. As of 31 December 2024, Mineral Reserves at the Didipio mine increased to 1.23 million ounces of gold and 0.15 million tonnes of copper, net of mining depletion. The company is also spending $5 million on exploration activities within its FTAA area surrounding the mine.

Workforce
During the current preservation and safe management phase, the workforce is approximately 1,600. The planned processing of stockpiled ore is expected to add about 700 direct jobs. Before the shutdown, the mine provided approximately 7,000 direct jobs.
Overview
Franco-Nevada holds a precious metals stream on the Cobre Panama mine, operated by First Quantum Minerals (90%) and Korea Resources Corporation (10%). As of November 2023, the mine is in a phase of Preservation and Safe Management with production halted, though export of stockpiled concentrate is approved.
Production
Before the halt in production, the plant was intended to achieve a throughput rate of 100 Mtpa by the end of 2023. At full capacity, it was designed to produce over 300,000 tonnes of copper annually, along with gold, silver, and molybdenum. In 2022, the mine produced 139,751 ounces of gold and 2,813,129 ounces of silver. The processing of stockpiled ore is expected to yield approximately 70,000 tonnes of copper.
Processing
The processing plant employs a conventional sulphide ore flotation circuit with differential flotation to create separate copper and molybdenum concentrates. Gold and silver are recovered into the copper concentrate and can also be separated into a gravity concentrate for doré production. The plant was designed to process 85 Mtpa of ore, with construction completed for an expansion to 100 Mtpa.
Equipment
The Cobre Panama complex includes two open pits, a processing plant, a 300-megawatt coal-fired power station, and a port. The processing plant features some of the world's largest SAG and ball mills. The mining method is truck and shovel/loader.
Expansion
A planned expansion from 85 million tonnes per year (Mtpa) to 100 Mtpa was to include the addition of a ninth mill, an expanded mining equipment fleet, more conveyors, and an in-pit crusher.

Overview
The Northern Molong Porphyry Project is an exploration project and not an operating mine. Alkane Resources is conducting significant exploration activities, including drilling, to grow its understanding of the regional geology and identify new deposits. The project is covered by five exploration licences across 180 square kilometres. Within the broader project, the Boda-Kaiser deposits are being progressed via a scoping study and baseline environmental assessments to evaluate the potential for a long-term, bulk-tonnage mining and processing operation.
Processing
As an exploration project, there is no operational processing plant. However, metallurgical test work has been conducted on deposits within the project area, such as Boda, to estimate potential metal recoveries.
Equipment
Exploration activities utilise diamond core and Reverse Circulation (RC) drill rigs. An Airborne Gravity Gradiometer survey using the FALCON system was flown over the entire project area in late 2023 to image geology to a depth of 500-600 metres. Other field exploration techniques include aeromagnetic and electrical geophysics.

Overview
The Big Gossan mine is an underground operation that utilizes a mechanized longhole open stoping method with paste backfill. The orebody is a tabular, near-vertical deposit with dimensions of approximately 1,200 meters along strike and 800 meters down dip, with a variable thickness ranging from 20 to 120 meters.
Production
Production reached a peak of 7,000 tons per day in 2011. Recent figures from 2024 indicate an average production of approximately 8,000 tons per day. The mine is expected to produce around 135 million pounds of copper and 65,000 ounces of gold annually.
Processing
Ore is dropped down passes to a haulage level where it is loaded by trucks and transported to a jaw crusher. The crushed ore is then hoisted vertically through a two-skip production shaft to a conveyor belt, which transports it to the surface stockpiles for processing. The processing includes grinding and flotation to produce a concentrate containing copper, gold, and silver. The mine features an underground paste backfill plant with a design capacity of 300 tonnes of paste per hour.
