Martabe Gold Mine Expansion Enhances Processing Capacity

The Martabe Gold Mine in North Sumatra, operated by PT Agincourt Resources, continues to advance expansion works aimed at increasing processing capacity and extending mine life.

Recent upgrades have focused on improving plant throughput and recovery rates, supported by enhancements to crushing and milling circuits. The operation is also investing in tailings management and environmental systems to meet evolving regulatory standards.

Martabe remains one of Indonesia’s most significant gold producers, and the current expansion reflects a strategy of incremental optimisation rather than large-scale redevelopment. By focusing on efficiency gains and resource extension, the operator is maximising value from existing assets.
